Joe Minicozzi will challenge your perception of the market forces and policy affecting the shape of our downtown and how this alters our day-to-day lives.

"He can dazzle you, your boss, and your local governing board with his numbers. He shows that even the crappiest little downtowns well outperform the traditional power centers we’ve all come to loathe (or love?)." -

Joe's cross-training in city planning in the public and private sectors, as well as private sector real estate finance, has allowed him to develop award-winning analytic tools that have garnered national attention in Planetizen, The Wall Street Journal CityLab and Smart Growth America.

Joe is a sought-after lecturer on city planning issues. His work has been featured at the Congress for the New Urbanism , the American Planning Association and New Partners for Smart Growth Conference as a paradigm shift for thinking about development patterns.

Initiated in 1998, this Centro San Antonio networking series features thought leaders, co-creators, and influencers from some of the most transformational and inspirational downtown revitalization programs and case studies in the country.

Past speakers include Peter Kageyama, Jason Roberts, and Donovan Rypkema!

The goal of this series is to ENGAGE, INFORM and INSPIRE #DowntownSA to excellence through conversation & collaboration.
