"Downtown San Antonio is the perfect location for a romantic evening with your date. I usually park at the Riverbend Garage or the Market St/Commerce St Garage – they’re both central to everything downtown. I’d recommend starting your evening by picking up a margarita to go from Jim Cullum’s Landing and then enjoy a barge ride or casual stroll along the River Walk. Next, have dinner at any of these great romantic restaurants: Pesca, Las Canarias, Citrus or Biga on the Banks. After dinner, relax with a drink at one of these cozy bars: Zinc Champagne & Wine Bar, the V Bar at Hotel Valencia or Swig. And the perfect ending to the evening is a late night desert - the Carrot Cake Martini at SoHo Wine & Martini Bar."

"One of my favorite spots downtown is Zinc. It has such a great atmosphere, particularly the wonderful outdoor courtyard. It's so cozy and urban at the same time...plus I love the flatbread pizza and prosecco"
