Free Fruit Tree Give Away at Confluence Park
Adopt a Happy Little Tree! Join the San Antonio River Foundation and Public Allies at 8:00 AM for a Fruit Tree Giveaway on Saturday, May 27th at Confluence Park.
There will be 450 trees available for adoption on a first come first serve basis. One Tree limit per person.
You do not need to bring an ID or utility bill to get your tree.
Supplied by San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department, these 5-gallon FREE fruit trees need your love and care to grow and join the vibrant canopy which makes San Antonio a beautiful place to live and play.
The benefits of adopting a tree include increased property values, reduced energy consumption, reduced storm water runoff, which in turn helps control flooding, protection of the Edwards Aquifer, cleaner water, and a more resilient, lovely city.
This event is made possible through a generous grant from Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Texas and trees are supplied by the City of San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Get your tree, and plant some roots!
